Jessa Parette

Jessa Parette is Head of Design at Yum!, where she leads design strategy for Byte by Yum!, the company’s AI-driven restaurant technology platform powering digital experiences across Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut, and Habit Burger & Grill globally. In this role, Jessa is responsible for shaping the end-to-end design vision across customer, restaurant, and team-member experiences—bringing coherence, usability, and scale to one of the world’s largest restaurant technology ecosystems.

At Byte by Yum!, she operates at the intersection of platform strategy, AI-enabled products, and operational complexity, partnering closely with product, engineering, and brand leaders to translate real-world restaurant constraints into intuitive, scalable design systems. Her work spans design systems, internal and external platforms, and the integration of AI into mission-critical workflows—helping Yum! modernize how millions of daily transactions are designed, delivered, and experienced.

Previously, Jessa held senior design leadership roles at Capital One and Walmart, where she built and scaled design organizations inside highly regulated, engineering-led environments. At Capital One, she led enterprise design platform products and services across risk management, cybersecurity compliance, research operations, and internal tooling—managing large portfolios, modernizing stalled platforms, and leading organization-wide audit remediation efforts. Earlier in her career at Walmart, she led associate and data product design for platforms serving over a million users, delivering significant cost savings while establishing durable design systems and cross-functional operating models.
