Experience Charleston’s historic charm from a horse-drawn carriage as you travel 25–30 blocks through the city’s picturesque residential district. This narrated, one-hour tour winds past grand mansions, lush gardens, cobblestone streets, and iconic churches while sharing stories of Charleston’s architecture, culture, and vibrant past. Optional Activity: Ghost and Graveyard Walking Tour

Go beyond the gates on this exclusive after-dark walking tour that takes you inside one of Charleston’s oldest graveyards. Optional Activity: Haunted Jail Walking Tour

February 25th, 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Step inside Charleston’s infamous Old City Jail, which operated from 1802 to 1939 and held everyone from pirates to Civil War prisoners. On this 45-minute walking tour, you’ll explore preserved cells and dark hallways while hearing stories of notorious inmates, paranormal claims, and the grim realities of 19th-century incarceration. The space is dimly lit and atmospheric, adding to the spine-tingling experience.

Self-Defense with Satyne

February 26th, 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM

Join WiRL associate editor Satyne Doner, who also happens to be a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu jitsu, Orange Belt in Judo, gold medalist in the IBJJF Pan Ams, and a silver medalist in the Florida State Judo Championships, for a bite-sized women’s self-defense class designed to build confidence, strength, and practical skills. All skill levels are welcome to join this supportive and encouraging session. Admission info: Limited tickets available and must be added on during the registration process.
