Katie Love is the Chief Marketing Officer at Sonny’s BBQ, where she leads brand strategy, guest experience, and marketing innovation for one of the nation’s most beloved BBQ brands. Over more than a decade with Sonny’s, Katie has helped evolve the brand from a regional favorite into a nationally recognized name — balancing tradition with transformation through storytelling, hospitality, and data-driven creativity.
Previously serving as Vice President of Marketing and Director of Brand Management, she spearheaded initiatives that modernized the brand’s identity, grew guest loyalty and digital channels, and deepened community impact through programs like Q the Kindness.
Before joining Sonny’s, Katie built her foundation in creative production and digital strategy at Orlando digital agencies Purple Rock Scissors and Push, where she helped enterprise clients bring campaigns to life through integrated storytelling and design.
Katie earned her degree from the University of Central Florida and completed the Marketing Executive Leadership Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Passionate about purpose-driven leadership, she also serves on the board of IDignity, a nonprofit that helps restore dignity and opportunity through identification services.
