Sheri Miksa is a 5-time CEO/President of Fast Casual restaurant chains (BIBIBOP Asian Grill, Boneheads, Mazzio’s Pizza, Robeks Juice, and Rubio’s (then NASDAQ: RUBO)), for both public and private companies, including franchised and PE-backed. Her path to the C-Suite was through Operations, serving as a 3-time foodservice Operations executive (LSG Sky Chefs, Seattle Coffee Company, and Taco Bell). She is an 8-time corporate Board Director, for both public and private companies, including Compensation Committee service. Additionally, she served on 4 nonprofit boards, incl. Nom. Comm, for mission-focused organizations.
Since 2020, Sheri has served on Industry nonprofit GLEAM Network’s Board of Directors and has led the organization’s signature Mentor Program. GLEAM was formed by a group of passionate Industry leaders during the height of the Covid shutdowns. The mission is to provide access to mentorship and leadership development to underserved restaurant and foodservice professionals, enabling them to achieve their full career potential. To-date, GLEAM’s Mentor Program has served nearly 400 Industry professionals, pairing them with experienced Industry leaders/execs who volunteer their time as Mentors. Earlier in her career, she served on the Women’s Foodservice Forum’s Board of Directors and led their Mentor Program.
Sheri’s career/board service spans the Consumer Segment. Her CEO/leadership roles have been in the Chain Restaurant, Foodservice, & Hospitality Industries, and earlier, in Food CPG. She is experienced in General Management, Operations, and Marketing. Sheri is known for transformations and turnarounds, and as a strategic leader, innovative revenue growth driver, and change agent. She is passionate about people & organization development. Sheri holds an MBA from the Stanford GSB.
